Thu - June 30

Thursday we wanted to give each family the opportunity to do whatever their family wanted to do.  The weather wasn't all that accommodating with rain showers off and on but everyone got the chance to go off and do.

Tom, Ann and Great Grandma Helen drove up to Leadville where the "Elusive" Elwood Erastus McVey used to live a century earlier.  We still couldn't find him but we did have a good time.  Sorry, we didn't take any photos.

John and Piikea took off to the Copper Mountain Fun Park to see what they might find there...

Mollie & Paul joined up with Kim & Warren and spent time on the ATV'S and Motorcycles.

Nicole & Taylor had a great time with Uncle Paul

Warren towed the ATV'S and Motorcycles up on their trailer and they had a great time on Thursday out on the trails.  Kaylee wasn't feeling too good so she got a blessing from grandpa and dad...she ended up just fine!

Josh and Jill took the kids on a walk near Dillon Lake and enjoyed the outdoors.  They then returned to Ready-Paint-Fire for another round of fun!

T.J., Tiffany and the family made a bold decision and went to Breckenridge and biked back to Frisco...pretty much all downhill, but nearly 10 miles for some who were rookie cyclists

Tyler's ready to get the show on the road!
"Parkie Dude" is really excited!

For dinner that night Grandma and Grandpa kept the little ones and sent the couples and Great Grandma Helen to have dinner in town so that they could enjoy one another's company for just a short time without the worry of the little ones

We had a dinner of misc goodies like mac & cheese or grilled cheese sandwiches and left overs and afterwards Grandpa got to enjoy the little ones!

After everyone got home from dinner we all gathered in the living room and the kids gave grandma a necklace for her birthday.  It was custom designed by the kids and a friend of Kim's made it...very nice.  Grandpa was also honored with birthday items for his October 60th.

Once the play was over and everyone put to bed, there was time for a mean game of "Pit/Pit".  Allegations were passed back and forth that Kim was colluding with any takers.  You look at the photos and make your decision.  And the winner was....

Everyone was really into it!
The first signs of collusion...do you see it?
