On Wednesday we hurried down to the Georgetown Loop Railroad station to catch a ride on the train. The morning was beautiful so the scenery was really great. The train runs from Silver Plume down to just above Georgetown and back and the ride is about 1 hr 15 min.

Pretty cool....it's for sure an old time train. This particular train used to run in Hawaii as a "Pineapple Train" so it has seen some time and miles.
Prior to departing on our 10am ride, we all gathered together for a quick group photo
...just to make sure that we were all accounted for after the ride.

At this point were jumped on the train and occupied the rear open-top car in hopes that we could see some great scenery. We were not disappointed at all! The picks below are in no certain order so enjoy....
After the train ride, everyone returned to our Frisco home and had lunch. Shortly after lunch, the ladies and older girls went off with $200 each in hand to shop at the outlet mall in Silverthorne. Madison, Abby and Kaylee scored $20 each from grandpa and went along shopping while the men watched the remaining kids.
T.J. may have provided the best for his boys
....another trip to the theater and Kung Fu Panda was the movie of choice.
Grandpa got a chance to take Nicole, Taylor and Jadyn on a walk looking for flowers. Not sure if it was legal to pick them, but we did anyway.

After training, shopping, watching and eating a yummy dinner provided by John and Piikea (again no photos - who was in charge of photography anyway?) ofpulled pork and salad we had a little b-day for Mollie.
